From an early fascination with how meaning shifts between words, cultures, and contexts, this grew into a profound passion for linguistics and a deep respect for the power language holds in shaping relationships, decisions, and outcomes. Each new language studied opened another way of seeing the world, and every interpreting assignment reinforced how the right words, delivered in the right way, can build trust, resolve conflict, and move conversations forward.
What motivates this work is the knowledge that clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive communication can make a tangible difference for people in real situations – whether in a conference hall, a legal setting, or a sensitive discussion. There is a genuine commitment not only to technical precision, but also to honouring the intent, tone, and emotion behind what is being said, so that speakers feel authentically represented and listeners fully informed. This combination of linguistic curiosity, professional training, and a strong ethical drive is what continues to fuel dedication to high‑quality interpreting and translation.
The path to becoming a conference interpreter has not been linear, but shaped gradually by a series of experiences that always seemed to lead back to language. Extensive travel played a major role in this journey, offering the chance to live, study, and work in different cultures rather than just observe them from a distance. Being immersed in new environments made it clear that language is never just vocabulary and grammar; it is identity, nuance, humour, and perspective. That awareness led to formal language studies, advanced training, and ultimately to specialising in Polish A / English B conference interpreting and translation, with Spanish and Italian further enriching this linguistic background.
Professional interpretation work brought all these elements together in practice. Assignments in legal settings and public services provided first-hand experience of the crucial role of high-quality communication when the stakes are high for those involved. Every project reinforced both skill and conviction, from supporting law firms and public institutions to working on complex topics. Each setting emphasised the importance of precise, ethically grounded interpreting. It is this combination of lived experience, structured learning and years of professional practice that has shaped the interpreter working today: someone who understands language and has built a career around using it to connect people, ideas and decisions.
Since beginning my freelance career as an interpreter and translator in 2014, I have built a broad and loyal client base by focusing on quality, reliability, and clear communication. My path as a professional linguist has been shaped by three key elements: the cultural insight gained through travel, the solid academic foundation I have pursued, and the extensive hands-on experience I continue to develop every day.
My linguistic journey began with a move from Poland to the UK and has since taken me to a range of culturally rich and often less-travelled places. Living and working in different environments has taught me to listen carefully, adapt quickly, and understand communication far beyond the literal meaning of words. This curiosity still drives me today. I remain open and willing to travel wherever my services are needed, bringing real-world cultural awareness and sensitivity to every assignment.
My academic background underpins my professional practice. After completing a BA in Modern Languages in 2008, I went on to specialise further, obtaining DPSI qualifications in Health and Law. A defining milestone was achieving a Master of Arts with Distinction in Conference Interpreting in 2025. This intensive programme combined theory with practical training in a fully digital interpreting suite and prepared me for the technical, ethical, and interpersonal demands of high-level communication.
With more than a decade of professional practice, experience has sharpened every aspect of my work. I have developed a nuanced awareness of context, register, and speaker intention – factors that are essential for accurate and effective interpreting. Working across a variety of sectors has helped me maintain both depth and versatility, ensuring that my services remain carefully tailored to each client’s needs.

I aim to create a positive, respectful working atmosphere founded on trust, transparency, and mutual respect.
